Why do I have to register?

By registering, we give you access to all Shirtcity features. In addition, we need your registration for individual information, such as your shipping address, sending the order confirmation, shipping options and for the clear assignment of data to your profile. The registration is free of charge and non-binding.

Questions about my order

I made a mistake with my order. What can I do?

If your order is incorrect, please cancel it immediately under "My Account" and then simply place a new one. After the production has started, it is not possible to cancel the order. In this case, please contact our customer service team.


Change requests by e-mail, we can unfortunately in many cases no longer take into account, because ordered items have been partially already printed.

Can I return and exchange custom printed merchandise?

All printed products are custom made by us because we cannot stock the millions of possible combinations of designs, shirts, colors, positions and print sizes. We print on demand.

The right of withdrawal does not apply to distance contracts for the supply of goods that are made to customer specifications or clearly tailored to personal needs or are printed.

For unprinted products you have of course a right of withdrawal of 14 days, more details in the AGB.

If you are not satisfied with your order, please contact customer service, we will try to find a solution. Products with misprints or quality defects will be re-produced or returned as a matter of course.

What is the status of my order?

You can easily track the current status of your order under "My Account". As soon as your order has been shipped, you will receive a notification by e-mail.

How can I complain about something?

Please first check the order confirmation or invoice to see if there is actually an error on our part. If this is the case, the incorrectly printed product will be replaced.

Our staff will inform you about the further procedure.

Please claim a defect within 14 days after delivery. Unfortunately, later complaints can not be accepted.

How soon can I expect a refund if I have been promised one?

Refunds are credited approximately ten days after release. Credits in the form of a voucher are usually issued immediately.

Questions about the graphics service

My motif was rejected. Why?

Every uploaded vector motif is checked by our graphic service and prepared for activation.

These are possible rejection reasons for vector motifs:

  • - Line thickness undershot
  • - Too many anchor points
  • - The graphic is not a real vector graphic but a pixel graphic
  • - The motif is too complicated
  • - Not completely converted to curves
  • - Too many colors
  • - Motif uploaded several times
  • - Faulty file
  • - Ethical concerns
  • - Copyright or trademark at risk
  • - Too many layers

Should your graphic have been rejected, you will receive a notification by email with reasons. Of course, you can change the graphic according to the rejection reasons and submit it again.

Why does a graphic need to be vectorized?

Vectorization is inevitable if the graphic is to be produced in flex or flock printing. Non-vectorized graphics can only be produced in digital printing (photo printing) or direct printing.

How long does it take to vectorize my graphic?

We make every effort to process your vector graphic as quickly as possible. Usually, vectorization takes one to seven days. In case the vectorization of your graphic is not possible due to legal or quality reasons, you will receive a message by e-mail.

Questions about the store

The price changes depending on the imprint. What is the reason for that?

The price depends on the printing method, products, number of printing areas and of course number of printing colors. You can influence the price yourself; depending on the settings you make on the product, the system will show you the current price.

Does Shirtcity also print large runs between 500 and 5,000 pieces?

No, Shirtcity specializes in individual short runs of 1 piece or more. If you want to place a larger order, please contact customer service.

Is there a minimum order quantity?

There is no minimum order quantity. At Shirtcity you can design and order single pieces. Shirtcity specializes in short runs with no minimum order quantity.

Can I print my own logo (for example with transparency)?

You can upload your own graphics as an image with or without transparency and have it produced as a digital or direct print. If you prefer a vector file as flex or flock print, you have to upload it under "MyAccount" and let our graphic service check it. This check can take several days. As soon as the graphic is approved by us, it will be available to you under "my vector designs". You can order it again and again or set up your own partner store with it.

Do the imprints look exactly like in the store preview on the internet?

Not 100 percent. Please note that the image is similar. Minimal deviations may occur, e.g. in the relative size of the imprint to the product or in the color representation.

How can I upload my own vector files?

Under "My Account" you have the possibility to upload your own vector graphics. However, these are checked by our graphics service for printability before you can design products with them.

Questions about shipping

Do I have to pay duties, taxes and fees when shipping to non-EU countries?

The delivery is made from the EU - from the Czech Republic or Germany. Additional duties, taxes and fees may apply when shipping to non-EU countries. Further information on customs duties can be found, for example, at

What does "fast delivery" mean?

Printing your products will take 1 to 2 business days, plus delivery time to your home country.

How long does it take to ship to my home country?

Here you can find a list of delivery times. Printing of the products takes 1-2 business days. In addition, the following package delivery times:
  • Germany: 3-5 working days
  • Austria: 3-5 working days
  • Switzerland: 5-7 working days
  • Great Britain: 3-6 working days
  • France: 3-5 working days

Where is my order?

Once your package has been shipped, you will receive a shipping confirmation email. Please note the delivery time to your home country.

Questions about payment

Which payment method will process my order as soon as possible?

If you pay with "PayPal", "credit card" or "direct debit" (only possible in Germany), your order will immediately go into our production process and will be settled afterwards. With these three payment methods we do not have to wait for the receipt of payment as we do with payments in advance.

Did Shirtcity receive my bank transfer?

As soon as we have received your transfer, you will get a notification by email.

When will I be debited if I pay by credit card or direct debit?

Your credit card account will be charged when the order is completed.

The direct debit is made when the goods leave our warehouse.

What does prepayment mean?

The payment method "prepayment" means that we only start with the production of your goods when you have transferred the invoice amount to us and it has been received on our account. You will find more detailed information about the bank transfer in the order confirmation e-mail.

What printing methods does Shirtcity offer and how good are they?

There are four different printing methods Shirtcity uses. You can find an overview with the descriptions here.

Which care instructions do I need to follow?

In order to preserve your printed products for a long time, you should observe the following care instructions:
  • - Wash inside out to a maximum of 30°C
  • - Do not dry clean
  • - Do not dry hot
  • - Do not bleach
  • - Iron from the left, medium heat, without steam

How high is the quality of the products?

We purchase various products of different brands from various suppliers. There are slight differences from brand to brand, from product to product, but all our textiles and other products are tested and proven. We pay attention to high quality and good wearing comfort.
